Widely attended gatherings (WAG) determinations are some of the most complicated gifts analyses ethics officials routinely face. In OGE's second ever Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), participants will work virtually with facilitators to analyze two hypothetical invitations using a WAG analysis worksheet and the regulations at 5 C.F.R. §2635.204(g)(2).

The class consists of two sessions. The first session on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 will be an introduction to the regulation and the worksheet, along with instructions for the exercises. Participants will then have two days to complete the exercises. On Thursday, August 7, 2014 instructors will debrief the exercises.
